Rob was involved with the Nissan GT Academy at its inception and was appointed as Head Judge for GT Academy International from 2015.
The winners of GT Academy have proven the merits of this game changing initiative by Nissan and Playstation taking drivers from the virtual racing world to the reality of the Le Mans 24hrs.
Rob is an experienced technical analyst motorsport commentator providing unique driver insight. His television work includes expert analysis and commentary for Channel 4’s “GT on Four” & “F3 on Four”, Co-Commentator to Sam Collins on the English language coverage of “Super GT” in addition to work for Motors TV in their coverage of the “GT Cup Series” and the “Lotus On Track Championship”.
He has also been employed as a commentator for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone bringing insight to the complexities not only of Formula 1 but also the support package including GP2 and the Porsche Supercup. Rob’s live broadcasting has included the Motors TV coverage of the Silverstone Classic meeting alongside commentary legends Toby Moody and John Hindhaugh.
